Vanderkamp UK Depot - Site CCTV and Security

A Matter of Security are a specialist CCTV installers.

We were introduced by the Director of Maptec IT to the management team at VanderKamp UK.

As part of Vanderkamp’s expansion in the UK Vanderkamp have acquired a new depot.

The one-acre site in Stanford-le-Hope is used as an operational centre, in addition to their existing Brentwood Head Office, and is used to store and maintain an array of pumps, pipe-work and additional equipment.

Ron Bryant, Managing Director of Vanderkamp UK, said “this additional site allows us to support our expanding UK client base and book of business and is further evidence of Vanderkamp’s commitment to the UK market”.

Ron and his team required a professional CCTV design.  Their initial requirements were;

• Protect the entire premises
• Provide high level recording for both admissible evidence and site health and safety 
• Be able to view remotely from UK and Offices Abroad

The design included specialist power over coaxial equipment due to the distance of the cameras from the main office. This enabled the team to transmit the picture over distances of 150 metres without the need of local permanent power.

Pole mounted cameras were installed by our security engineers at high level and provided full site coverage of external parts of the yard.  Internal areas were protected with specialist dome cameras.

The recording equipment is connected to a dedicated broadband router enabling access remotely via directors smart devices and their head office personal computers.
