Forefront Utilities Ltd is a leading Achilles-approved gas infrastructure specialist operating in a gas utility market worth £1.6bn. With a 300-strong workforce, they provide utility solutions across London and the south east of England.
Having recently moved into their new head office in Jenkins Farm, Murthering Lane the company had concerns with site security, especially the fact that during working hours any vehicle could access their compound.
The management team knew that they required an electric bollard of some kind of access control and intercom system.
Our design team prepared a full system design and quotation that includes an automatic barrier and GSM intercom.
To reduce cost a GSM intercom was used. The ability to be able to whitelist unto 1000 users mobile phone numbers means that we did not need to provide hundreds of fobs that would normally get damaged or lost (Sorry construction workers, I am one too and I am always breaking things)
